Code of Behavior
As an ambassador of our Club, players (and spectators alike) are expected to play fair, respect the umpires, team mates and coaches. Treat your hockey colleagues as you would expect to be treated.
REMEMBER all of the people that are involved with our Club are here to help you with your hockey, and are volunteers. They give up their valuable time for you.
So remember:
Play by the rules.
NEVER argue with an official. Your captain, coach or manager is the one person who should approach an official during a break to question any decisions made.
Control your temper, verbal abuse of officials, sledging other players, deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent are not acceptable behaviours in any sport.
Respect the rights of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, culture or religion.
Treat all players as you like to be treated. Do not bully or take unfair advantage of another player.
Co-operate with your coach, team mates and opponents.
Participate for your own enjoyment, not just to please parents and coaches.
